Website uptime monitoring from six regions
Statance requests your site from Cloudflare’s network in US West, US East, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific and Oceania. A site is only marked down when a majority of regions agree, so one flaky route does not wake you up.
What to monitor on Website uptime
- 01HTTP status codeAnything outside your expected range (default 200–299) is a failure.
- 02Response time per regionSlow responses from one region point at CDN or routing problems.
- 03Uptime %Daily rollups for 90-day uptime bars and SLA reporting.
- 04ErrorsTimeouts, DNS failures and TLS errors are recorded with the message.

Website uptime monitoring FAQ
How often are sites checked?
Every 5 minutes on Free and every minute on Pro and Business.
How do you avoid false alarms?
With multiple regions, a monitor goes down only when most regions fail. With one region, a failed check is retried automatically before alerting.
Can I check for specific content?
Yes — use a keyword monitor to check that text is present (or absent) on the page.
Know before your users do.
Free forever for 3 servers and 10 monitors. No credit card. Install the agent in under a minute.
