Terms of Service

1. The service

Statance provides server monitoring, uptime checks, alerting and status pages (“the Service”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and API key secret and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address.

3. Acceptable use

Only monitor systems you own or are authorised to monitor. Do not use the Service to load-test, attack or scan third-party systems, or to send unsolicited messages.

4. Plans and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel any time; paid features remain until the end of the billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Availability

We work hard to keep Statance available, but the Service is provided “as is” without warranties. Monitoring reduces risk; it does not eliminate it.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms and will notify you by email of material changes.
