Reading the result
- Down in every region: the site itself is having problems.
- Down in some regions: a regional network, CDN or DNS issue is likely.
- Up everywhere: the site is reachable; the problem is probably your connection, DNS resolver, VPN or browser.
The live check is part of the free Investigate report, which also shows DNS records, certificate and domain details and a security-headers grade.
Stop checking by hand
One click turns the result into a website uptime monitor. Statance then checks it on a schedule and alerts you by email, Slack, Discord, Telegram and more when it goes down — and again when it recovers.
Questions
How does the check work?
Statance requests the site live from 6 regions — US West, US East, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific, Oceania — and shows the result from each, so you can see whether the outage is everywhere or only in some places.
The site works for others but not for me. What now?
The problem is probably between you and the site: your connection, DNS resolver, VPN, firewall or browser cache. Try another network or device, or flush your DNS cache.
It is down everywhere. What should I check?
If it’s your site, look at DNS, the TLS certificate, the domain registration and the server itself. The full Investigate report shows DNS records, certificate and domain expiry details alongside the live check.
Can I be alerted next time instead of checking by hand?
Yes. Create a free website uptime monitor from the result and Statance will check it on a schedule and alert you when it goes down and when it recovers.
