What’s new.

New features, improvements and fixes to Statance.
Here’s what we’ve been working on.

Security monitoring, alongside your uptime.

Your servers can be online and still need attention. Statance now brings software and website security findings into the same place as your uptime and server metrics.

On Pro and Business, the Statance agent reports installed software versions so you can review known vulnerabilities and software that has reached end of life. Suspicious process checks and daily website scans add context beyond a successful HTTP response.

What’s included

  • Known CVEs and actively exploited vulnerability checks.
  • Outdated software and end-of-life version detection.
  • Suspicious process findings from the server agent.
  • Daily website scans for common exposures.

Free accounts can see security issue counts. Detailed security monitoring is available on Pro and Business.

These findings help you decide what to investigate and update. They sit alongside your operational metrics so you can see the server’s availability and security context together.

A simpler update path for the Windows agent.

The Windows agent now supports self-updates, including the --update command and updates pushed from the server.

This gives you a way to keep the agent current as Statance adds monitoring capabilities and improves collection. The agent continues to report the server metrics used by your dashboard and alert rules.

Install commands that are easier to use

Installation commands now show the full command rather than hiding the end behind the copy button. When you’re logged in, Statance fills in your API key. When you’re logged out, the command clearly marks where your key belongs.

Your monitoring, available to your tools.

Statance provides a REST API and a remote MCP server for tools that need access to your monitoring data.

Use the API from your own workflows, or connect an MCP-compatible assistant to investigate checks, server metrics and incidents. Both use your Statance API key for authentication.
