Statance
How it works

Everything you need to know your infrastructure is fine.

And the moment it isn’t: what broke, where, and probably why.

Servers

A 60-second heartbeat from every machine

The Statance agent is a small bash (or PowerShell) script with no dependencies beyond curl. It reports CPU, load, memory, swap, disks, network, temperature and the top processes every minute.

Agent docs · Linux monitoring

  • Linux, macOS, Windows, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Per-mount disk usage and per-interface traffic
  • Top processes by CPU and memory
  • Original Statance agents still supported
Uptime

Checks that agree before they alert

Monitors run from up to 6 regions. When most regions fail, the monitor goes down; one bad route doesn’t page you.

Monitor types · Website uptime

  • HTTP(S) with custom method, headers and body
  • Keyword present / absent and JSON path assertions
  • TCP ports, DNS records and SSL expiry
  • Heartbeat URLs for cron jobs and backups
Alerts

Rules that say exactly what you mean

“If CPU is greater than 90% for 10 minutes on any production server, tell #ops and PagerDuty, and tell us when it recovers.” That is one alert rule.

Alert rules · All integrations

  • Thresholds on CPU, memory, load, temperature and disk
  • Server-down detection when an agent stops reporting
  • Duration before alerting to avoid flapping
  • Recovery notifications
AI

An agent that does the first ten minutes for you

The assistant has tools over your servers, monitors and incidents. It investigates new incidents automatically and answers questions about your infrastructure in plain English.

AI assistant · Docs

  • Incident summaries with likely cause
  • Natural-language questions over your metrics
  • Create and pause monitors by asking
  • Your data is never used for training
Developers

API-first, and ready for AI agents

Everything in the dashboard is available over a REST API, and the same operations are exposed as an MCP server for Claude, Cursor and other agents.

API reference · MCP server

  • Bearer-token REST API
  • Remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP)
  • Webhooks with JSON payloads
  • Embeddable uptime badges
Status pages

Tell your users before they tell you

Publish live status and 90-day uptime for chosen monitors and servers, hosted separately from your own infrastructure.

Status page docs · Status pages

  • statance.com/s/your-name or status.statance.com/your-name
  • Custom domains on Business
  • SVG uptime badges
