# Statance > Server monitoring, uptime checks and instant down alerts. Track CPU, memory, disk and network on every server, monitor websites and APIs from 6 regions, and let an AI agent investigate incidents for you. Statance monitors servers (via a bash/PowerShell agent reporting every 60s), websites and APIs (HTTP, keyword, JSON), TCP ports, DNS records, SSL certificates and cron jobs (heartbeats). Checks run from Cloudflare regions: wnam (US West), enam (US East), weur (Western Europe), eeur (Eastern Europe), apac (Asia Pacific), oc (Oceania). Alerts go to email, Slack, Discord, Teams, Google Chat, Telegram, Pushover, Pushbullet, PagerDuty, webhooks, ntfy, SMS and voice. It includes public status pages, a REST API, a remote MCP server and an AI assistant that investigates incidents. Security monitoring (Pro and Business): the agent reports installed versions of security-relevant software and distro packages; Statance flags end-of-life or outdated versions (endoflife.date), known CVEs (OSV.dev, distro backports respected; Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine, RHEL-family), actively exploited CVEs (CISA KEV, synced daily), suspicious processes (likely miners, binaries in /tmp or deleted executables, ClamAV detections if installed) and runs a daily website scan (exposed .git/.env, missing security headers, outdated WordPress). It is not antivirus. Details: https://statance.com/security Statance is also a Nixstats alternative: Nixstats is being integrated into WebPros’ 360 Monitoring, and Statance offers an independent option with a one-command agent and a free plan.
